Some finished and pending projects

Hello all, how are you? I’ve been very busy lately, crocheting and knitting. Making stash to get my Etsy Shop winter ready. I started the c2c babyblanket, when we did the Himachal trip. I finished that blanket yesterday, blocked and all. And made matching booties.
A pattern i found on Craftsy (crochet baby booties no. 46 by Elifine Design).
So that set is done. It was fun to make, but i’m bit tired of pastel / baby colours now.

Yesterday started a cowl. I wanted to make something up as i went, and with bold colours. The cowl starts with red, black, red v-stitch. Now the black middle part. This stitch comes from a vintage pattern, it’s a downward purl stitch. It took me a while to figure out how to hold the hook, and which direction to pull the loop, to get the nicest result. Then I frogged the row,  and started again.  Now the stitches are equally same. It’s coming nicely now. The stitch has to be done one by one. Every stitch i need to take out the needle and make the loop. So progress will be dead slow, as i’m planning to do the entire middle section in this stitch… But, i think it will be worth it.

Furthermore, been working on promoting my shop. All likes, but hardly any sales. Cracking my brains now, what all I can do to get these customers. Thankfully, i have a very supportive husband, who helps me and thinks with me. In the meantime I’m filled with ideas on what items to make. Crocheting and knitting and trying some macrame..

So,  hope you enjoyed this post,  and please feel free to have a look in my shop.. 😊

Till next time
